Your labels are presented individually or in sheets of your size.

Whatever the application and environmental constraints.

Undeniable benefits

Plastic labels offer advantages such as greater durability than paper labels and lower cost than metal labels. Plastic labels are also highly resistant to harsh atmospheres and aggressive products.

Materials used in the manufacture of plastic labels

Vinyl, polycarbonate, polyester, polyethylene – the material used to make plastic labels depends on the intended use of the labels. For label thicknesses of less than 0.5 mm, the plastic is used in the form of film; for labels thicker than 0.5 mm, the plastic is used in the form of sheets. Find out more about techniques for marking polyester labels.

Adhesive plastic labels

Plastic labels are designed to be stuck to a substrate. This is why plastic labels have an adhesive surface. The adhesive is chosen according to the material to which the plastic label will be stuck. This is known as surface energy. All materials have a surface energy that determines their ability to be impregnated and therefore bonded.

Plastic labels and the environment

Plastic labels can be made from PLA (compostable bioplastic). This is a new material, formulated from vegetable oil. This substrate is 100% biodegradable and gives the appearance of vinyl labels. The range of printable plastics is now wide enough to produce plastic labels for any application and any environmental constraint.
